We have many ways for you to volunteer at Camp Luther, any time of the year! If you don't see what you're looking for below, or if you have questions, please email us at campluther@campluther.org or call 402-352-5655.
Church Worker of the Week (ChWoW)
The Church Worker of the Week program is a great opportunity to serve campers and staff while enjoying a week of camp. Responsibilities include leading chapel/campfire devotions for kids, leading Bible study for our college-aged summer staff, and joining in games, activities, and meals to help build Christ-centered relationships. Come yourself or bring your family!
Email Allison at programdirector@campluther.org for more information.
His Kids Buddies
You can register yourself or a group to volunteer for our His Kids camp for people with special needs! Each of our campers is paired with a volunteer "buddy" to ensure that they have an awesome time learning about Jesus and taking part in all our great outdoor activities! We train volunteers the evening before campers arrive, so no prior experience is necessary--just a love for God and others.
Nurse of the Week
Camp Luther needs volunteers to serve as the nurse of the week! Responsibilities include collecting and dispensing camper meds and giving any needed medical attention to campers and staff. Come and stay at camp by yourself or with your family and spend time relaxing in God’s creation.
If you're a healthcare professional and are interested in this service opportunity, fill out the form below and email it to campluther@campluther.org
Groundskeeping
With 160 acres of land, there is a lot of groundskeeping to keep up with! If you have an interest in lawn-mowing, tree-trimming, weed-whacking, or other similar activities, and would like to donate some of your time to help improve camp, please consider joining our team of volunteers. We'll place you on our contact list and let you know when there is work to be done.
