FUTURE LEADERS

Our Future Leader program equips and prepares high school students for servant leadership.

Future Leaders (FuLe) join our college-age summer staff in providing physical, emotional, and spiritual care for our campers, while growing in their own leadership skills.

Responsibilities during the volunteer week(s) include:

  • Helping lead camper games, songs, and activities

  • Cleaning camp facilities

  • Providing assistance in the kitchen

  • Other duties as assigned.

Future leaders are invited to volunteer for one or more weeks during the summer. First time Future Leaders are required to attend our Training Week before volunteering.

All applications are due by May 15th. Register early for a better chance at getting your preferred dates. A Future Leader Schedule and additional information will be emailed to registered Future Leaders in May.

2026 Future Leader Training

  • Future Leader Training: May 30, 2026

  • Saturday, 9:00 am - 4:00 pm

  • Cost: $195 (includes $70 training event and $125 Camp Registration)

New one-day training day format designed for new and returning teens serving as Future Leaders this summer. Learn how to lead a group, facilitate games, and other topics to help make this volunteer opportunity a success.

This training session is required for first time Future Leaders. Due to the new format, returning Future Leaders are also encouraged to attend.

2026 Volunteer Schedule

  • His Kids A Buddy - May 31, June 1-4
  • His Kids B Buddy - June 8, June 9-12
  • Week 3: June 14-19
  • Week 4: June 21-26
  • Week 5: June 28-July 3
  • Week 6: July 7-10 (Tuesday-Friday)
  • Week 7: July 12-17
  • Week 8: July 19-24 (Owls, Specialty)
  • Week 9: July 26-31

Please note: Future Leaders attending for consecutive weeks should plan to spend their weekends at home. Weekend housing and food options are not available.

2026 Future Leaders

  • Future Leaders: Summer 2026

  • Cost: $125 (covers up to three weeks of volunteer service)

  • For teens who have completed training or who register to attend training in 2026.

Most Future Leaders serve between 1-3 weeks. Opportunities for additional service may be available due to the needs of camp, and at the discretion of our Discipleship Director.
