This can be a noisy, confusing world. Sometimes we need time and space to listen to God, reconnect with other people, and continue to discern God’s will for our lives. In Luke 5 we’re told “Yet the news about him spread all the more, so that crowds of people came to hear him and to be healed of their sicknesses. But Jesus often withdrew to lonely places and prayed.” (Luke 5:15-16)

Retreats at Camp Luther are an opportunity for people to escape the constant demands of life and set apart time to read, study, and discuss God’s Word, strengthen and cultivate existing relationships, and make new connections. Retreats are great for Junior or Senior High groups, Confirmation classes, men’s groups, women’s groups, or any other group.

woodcutter's retreat - Feb. 24-25, 2017

Calling all Men! Camp Luther of Nebraska has become overgrown with trees and bushes! We need your help to remove dead trees, clear overgrown areas, clear hiking trails and paths, trim trees, and create burn piles. Our annual Woodcutter's Retreat is just around the corner, and we need YOU! (And your chainsaw...)

Men of all ages are invited to this fun and productive volunteer event. In addition to chopping down trees, etc...we will also have a Men's Bible Study on Friday night, and breakfast and lunch on Saturday. Click below for more information and how to register.

confirmation retreat - Mar. 24-25 or mar. 31-apr. 1

A time where confirmands from across the state descend upon Camp Luther for a weekend of fun, fellowship, and faith growth! The event starts Friday at 7pm and goes until Saturday at 4pm The deadline for registration is March 13th, and we've already got groups reserving spots, so please call ahead to check for availability for your group's preferred weekend!

This year's theme is "Here We Stand!" Our presenters will be Pastor B.J. Fouts for March 24-25 and DCE Marty Hein for March 31-April 1. We will feast on s'mores Friday night, and breakfast and lunch will be provided on Saturday. Cost is $50.00 per student and $25.00 for adult chaperones.
